Intermediate Woodworking - Fort Myers, Master Woodwrights (Ages 14+)

Join us for hands-on woodworking classes designed to equip students with practical skills, confidence using tools, and pride in creating something with their own hands. Each student will complete three unique projects per session and will be provided their own set of tools to use in class. Our woodworking program follows a progressive pathway: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level introduces new skills, tools, and project challenges while building upon previously learned techniques. INTERMEDIATE WOODWORKING Prerequisite: Completion of the Beginner Woodworking Series or instructor approval. The Intermediate Woodworking Series introduces students to additional power tools while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and greater independence in the workshop. Rather than every student creating identical projects, students will learn a specific woodworking skill each week and then apply that skill through their own unique designs. Creativity is encouraged while still teaching students to follow project plans, measurements, and construction requirements. For example, during derby car week, students will build from the same approved plan but will have the freedom to customize, decorate, and design their project to reflect their own creativity and style.
