Then 10% of card payments, capped at $15 per enrollment.
We never take a percentage of money we didn’t process.
Free. Always. Not a trial.
There is no paid tier for families and no plan to add one. Organizations pay us only when they collect money through Famlo — that is the entire business model.
You only pay when you get paid.
Listing, rosters and announcements are free — permanently, not for a trial period. A percentage applies only to card payments you actually collect.

If you don't take money through Famlo, you don't pay Famlo.
Leave payments exactly where they are, or move them when you're ready. Rosters, schedules and announcements are free either way. That's not a trial — that's the product.
Stripe's card processing (2.9% + $0.30) is separate on every plan and goes to Stripe, not to us. We don't mark it up. That is Stripe's published rate.
- Is Famlo really free for families?
- Yes. Families never pay Famlo a fee. You pay only the price an organizer sets for a class or event.
- Are there booking fees at checkout?
- None. The number you see on the event page is the number you pay. No service charge is added at the end.
- Do you sell our information?
- No — not to advertisers, not to curriculum companies, not to anyone. There are no ads on Famlo.
- Is the free plan a trial?
- No. There's no time limit and no feature that quietly turns off at day 30. If you never collect money through Famlo, you never pay us.
- Where does the fee actually come from?
- Your Stripe account, at the moment a family pays by card. It's deducted at checkout, so there's no invoice from us and nothing to reconcile at month end — and it stops at $15 per enrollment.
- Can families still pay us offline?
- Always — that's between you and them, and we never charge a percentage on money we didn't process. Recording it inside Famlo, so the balance, the roster and the ledger all agree, is part of the Platform plan.
- When should we switch to the $99 plan?
- Around $990 a month through card checkout. Below that the free plan is cheaper; above it, you're better off flat. We show you where you are rather than letting you overpay.
- Why is the cap per enrollment instead of per student?
- Because co-ops price per family, with sibling discounts. Charging per student would punish the biggest families in your group, which is backwards.
- What happens if we cancel?
- Export your ledger, registrations, rosters and attendance as CSV, then schedule deletion. It's gone in 30 days. No exit fee.
