About this activity
A 6-Week Marine Science Course (Ages 10+) Snails to Whales introduces students ages 10+ to the incredible diversity of marine life, from microscopic plankton to the largest ocean mammals. Over six weeks, students will explore major groups of marine organisms, study coastal and ocean habitats, and learn how anatomy and behavior help each species survive in its environment. Through hands-on activities, microscope work, guided research, and group dissections, students will build real science skills while developing a strong understanding of marine ecosystems. The course also introduces conservation concepts and marine-related careers to inspire future exploration.
