Children ages 2-5 and their caretakers are invited to explore the science behind the classic tale of The Three Little Pigs. After listening the story, little ones will participate in hands on activities focused on the materials in the story: straw, sticks, and bricks. They will build a simple house out of drinking straws, pencils, and/or blocks, then try to blow it down. Which houses are still standing? Which ones fell? Why? These experiments will help children understand principles of material and strength.
