We’ll begin with an engaging presentation from the Dallas Arboretum, where participants will use prepared kits to simulate how fossils are discovered and excavated at real field sites. Learn how real paleontologists carefully uncover fossil materials using specialized tools and how fossil experts prepare fossils in a lab. After the presentation, we’ll transition into a dinosaur-themed craft, giving kids a chance to get creative and take home their own dino masterpiece. We’ll wrap up the program by relaxing with a family-friendly dinosaur movie, making this a fun-filled mix of learning, hands-on exploration, creativity, and entertainment.
