About this activity
Make a tie dye bandana and learn about chromatography, the scientific word that means "like dissolves like." Water can dissolve Crayola markers, but water can't dissolve permanent markers. So, we'll use permanent markers and a special dissolving spray (rubbing alcohol) to blend your tie dye colors together! Then you can use your imagination to think of all the ways you can use your bandana!
