Mary Esther Library takes registration on their own site
Your Famlo RSVP saves the date and reminds you — it does not hold a spot. Their programs often fill up well before the date, so check whether places are left.
About this activity
Discover the sights and sounds of nature at night with Nonie of Nonie’s Animal Encounters! She will be guiding a night walk at Oak Tree Nature Park for Mary Esther Library. The program will last around 1.5 hours and begins at the Library at 4:30pm. All are invited but the focus will be on families with children ages 4 to 12. Nonie will also be guiding a 12+ night walk on Friday, November 20th. We will explore for nocturnal and sometimes elusive creatures such as fox, owls, frogs and bats! Please bring a flashlight or headlamp for everyone in your party to light the walkway, Nonie will have a spotlight. The trail is wide and mostly flat but there are tree roots as expected and we will be crossing the street at the crosswalk. Registration is required. Meet at the Library at 4:30.
