About this activity
Join us for hands-on woodworking classes designed to equip students with practical skills, confidence using tools, and pride in creating something with their own hands. Each student will complete three unique projects per session and will be provided their own set of tools to use in class. Our woodworking program follows a progressive pathway:
- Beginner Woodworking (January Session)
- Intermediate Woodworking (March Session)
- Advanced Woodworking (April Session)
Each level introduces new skills, tools, and project challenges while building upon previously learned techniques. ADVANCED WOODWORKING Prerequisite: Completion of the Intermediate Woodworking Series or instructor approval. This advanced level deepens students’ woodworking abilities with more complex projects and increased independence. Teens will learn precise measurement, project planning, advanced hand tool skills, and safe operation of additional power tools under close supervision. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and confidence with real-world woodworking techniques.

Tuition becomes non-refundable two weeks prior to the class start date. Tuition is based on enrollment for the full session and covers materials, preparation, and instructor scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer prorated tuition or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals. If you cancel your registration more than two weeks before the class start date, please email The Homeschool Hangar to request a refund.
