Rosters with allergies and pickup, on the free plan
Our School Hangout’s rosters carry emergency contacts and allergies, with check-in by QR code or PIN. Famlo does that on its free plan: families add each child once, allergies, medications and who may collect them arrive with the registration, and parents check themselves in from a QR code.

Questions about switching from Our School Hangout
Thirty-five dollars a month isn’t much. Why switch?
For a small program it isn’t, and Our School Hangout’s tuition tools are thorough. The bill climbs as you enroll families, to $150 a month at 150, and its pages describe no way for new families to find you. Famlo’s free plan has no monthly bill at any size, and lists your classes where families nearby search.
Does Famlo bill families automatically?
Yes. Recurring dues bill automatically and retry a failed payment, and families can pay a term in installments, by card into your own Stripe account.
Can we switch mid-year?
Yes. Set up next term on Famlo while your current families finish the year, then cancel Our School Hangout; it has no contract.
What if we leave Famlo?
Export your registrations, rosters and attendance as CSV, then delete your group. There is no exit fee.
Where Our School Hangout’s figures come from
Each one is Our School Hangout’s own published number or wording, linked to the page it came from. Our build fails if any of them goes six months without being checked again.
